Madiha Zeb Sadiq
Madiha works as a Consultant in the Research and Development department.
She holds a BA in English (and Related Literature) & Philosophy (Joint Honours) where she focused on exploring political and foreign literature and philosophies at the University of York. She recently graduated from SOAS, University of London, with an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development and achieved a distinction in her dissertation on political repression in Kashmir. Madiha is currently pursuing Islamic studies in Qur’an and Hadith tafseer, Hanafi fiqh and tajweed.
Madiha joined the department as a consultant following a three-month internship. Her current role at HAD entails supporting the R&D department in the development of new programmes and projects, writing funding bids and closely cooperating with the marketing team. She was also fortunate enough to make a field visit to Lebanon in January 2019 and witness first-hand the situation of beneficiaries of Islamic Relief’s work on the ground.
Madiha regularly engages in humanitarian and charity work outside of work. Through her family, she is involved in facilitating education for the poor in Pakistan and has hosted large charity events through her community.
