Dr Hafiz T.A Khan
Hafiz Khan is an Associate Professor in Statistics at Birmingham City University and also a visiting research fellow at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, University of Oxford, UK. He has published a number of articles in academic journals, book chapters and as working papers, as well as co-authoring two text books on Research Methods for Business and Social Science Students.
Dr. Khan has particular interest in population ageing and health related issues in Asia and its long-term care and support provisions, as well as being actively involved in British charities for voluntary activities.

Research interests: Applied Statistics; Demography; Ageing and Society; Population and Environmental Change; Public Health; Poverty and Vulnerability; Development Issues such as micro-credit and NGO activities (Regional specialisation in South Asia, particularly Bangladesh).
