Dr Mahmoud Al-Madhoun
Brief Bio: Dr Mahmoud Almadhoun is organisation development practitioner, with research and expertise in HR, business and management. He is also an Adair ACL accredited leadership trainer with several years of senior management experience in the field of people management and organization development in the humanitarian sector at the country and regional office levels.
Dr Mahmoud is an approved trainer for the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and a member of the CHS Alliance “membership and nominations committee” and also a member of the steering committee for the annual humanitarian HR Europe conference (HHR Europe) of the CHS Alliance. He is also experienced in providing training on Core Humanitarian Competency Framework (CHCF) in all aspects of the employee life cycle.
He was recently selected by Namaa Al Munawara in Saudi Arabia, an organization of HRH Prince Faisal Bin Salman (the Governor of Madinah) to form part of the global thought leaders’ consortium, which is a specialized network of speakers and consultants who are invited to Al Madinah to help develop the entrepreneurial eco-system in the region. His previous experience also includes academic lecturing and course design in several business and management schools in Germany and Palestine/Middle East.
A winner of the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) award for postgraduate level Dr Mahmoud also has a PhD in Business Administration & Management from Regensburg University in Germany.
He is a German/Palestinian citizen and is fluent in Arabic, English, and German.
