Dr Mohammed Kroessin

Mohammed R. Kroessin currently Head of the Islamic Microfinance Business Unit at Islamic Relief. He carries a wealth of experience working and conducting research as a development economist for over 10 years.
Mohammed worked as a research associate with the Religions and Development Research Programme at the University of Birmingham, where he was awarded his PhD on the political economy of Islam.
Additionally, he has worked for Chambers of Commerce and Training and Enterprise Councils in the UK and was Asst. CEO of Muslim Aid. He is research associate at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and a Visiting Research Fellow at Aston Business School.
