Dr Mohammed Shareef
Dr Mohammed Shareef is the Research and Development Manager at the Humanitarian Academy for Development.
Mohammed has a wealth of experience both in the humanitarian sector and the academia, previously working for the United Nations and as a Visiting Lecturer in Politics and International Relations of the Middle East at the University of Exeter. He is also a former Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Sulaimani in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Shareef completed his PhD in International Relations at the University of Durham and has an MSc in International Relations from the University of Bristol.
Mohammed is the author of five books, two of them in the humanitarian field entitled: “Water Resources Baseline Survey and Mitigation Measures” and “Drilling and Testing Water Wells” published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization co-authored with leading international scholars Professor Zoran Stevanovic and Dr Adrian Iurkiewicz. Mohammed is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society (London) and is a founding member and member of the Board of Directors of the London Kurdish Institute.
