Jennifer specialises in conflict studies and humanitarian interventions with a specific interest in education in emergencies. Jennifer’s experience includes work with an INGO based at the United Nations, New York, with children and women’s issues in India, and as an English language teacher in the Sabra Shatila UNRWA camp in Lebanon and for the British Council Palestine.
These experiences have fostered a particular interest in the Middle East and refugee education. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development (University of East Anglia), and is completing an MSc in International Development, Conflict and Security at the University of Birmingham in September 2016.
