Wayne Harrop is a global security and resilience specialist having worked with 49 countries over 26 year’s managing high risk environments, leading security and incident response teams, and developing context driven threat and vulnerability analysis and ground intelligence requirements. He currently works at the Centre for Disaster Management & Hazards Research at Coventry University.
Wayne is a triple award winning practitioner, an avid security and resilience researcher, and an academic specialising in security, resilience, and disaster management possessing the experience, ethos and gravitas to handle modern day, complex geopolitical threats, disaster management issues, and disaster risk reduction challenges. He is a qualified MEMIR (Major Emergency Management Incident Response) operative, and co-developer of the International Risk, Resilience and Response Centre.
