MISSION: ASSISTING THE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT IN ITS ADMIN AND OPERATIONAL DEMANDS
DURATION: 3 MONTHS
I joined the internship programme back in Sep 2015, and since then opportunities unfolded. From part-time, to full-time jobs and from a coordinator’s role to an advisor’s position. Currently I serve as the Protection and Inclusion, Gender advisor for IRW. I am honoured to be part of Islamic relief’s family, with its wide outreach and wealth of experience and knowledge. More than anything else, there is warmth, friendly environment and a shared mission amongst Islamic relief staff, which I appreciate the most. Every day is a new challenging day, with something new to learn. I will always be grateful for the internship programme that opened for me the door to join Islamic relief.
