Vielleicht können wir dadurch besser nachempfinden, wie es millionen von menschen geht, für die Hunger und durst an der tagesordnung sind. islamic relief möchte ihre not lindern und ihnen helfen. indem Sie ihre Zakat und Zakat-ul-Fitr an islamic relief geben, können Sie mithelfen, die lage von bedürftigen und notleidenden menschen zu erleichtern. Sie können ihnen zeigen, dass es menschen gibt, die ihnen beistehen möchten. neben der eigenen spirituellen konzentration und der inneren reinigung ist der ramadan auch ein monat, in dem Wohltätigkeit und gute taten von allah noch höher bewertet werden als sonst. in einer überlieferung heißt es, dass der Prophet muhammad, allahs Segen und Friede auf ihm, besonders im ramadan noch freigiebiger war als der wehende Wind. ich wünsche ihnen und ihrer Familie einen gesegneten ramadan!   Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world, and that’s exactly what I kept reminding myself when I visited the country with an Islamic Relief USA delegation earlier this year. But no matter how hard I tried to prep myself mentally, there was nothing that could have prepared me for experiencing life without electricity and running water. It was a different lifestyle. Even the international airport in the country’s capital and most developed city, Bamako, didn't have running water in the airport’s only bathroom. And that was just the beginning. Möge Allah es von Ihnen annehmen und Sie reichlich dafür belohnen! Durch die Unterstützung unserer Paten können viele Kinder auf der ganzen Welt nun hoffnungsvoller in die Zukunft blicken. Die Erfahrung, dass ein fremder Mensch sich um sie sorgt und für sie eine Patenschaft übernimmt, erzeugt bei den Waisen oft eine stärkere Lebenskraft. Dass jemand sie nicht alleine lässt, ist für viele Kinder ein Wendepunkt für einen glücklicheren und erfolgreicheren Lebensweg. So wie ein stabiles Haus auf soliden Säulen steht, so sind Sie die Stütze, auf deren Grundlage die Kinder sich eine sichere Zukunft aufbauen können. Manche Paten unterstützen sogar mehrere Kinder, andere führen die Patenschaft auch noch weiter, wenn das Waisenkind das 18. Lebensjahr erreicht hat, damit es seine Ausbildung abschließen und in ein selbstständiges Leben starten kann. Ich möchte auch Sie darum bitten, Ihrem Waisenkind dies zu ermöglichen. Every Child Counts I met a Syrian refugee child who was too afraid to give me his name in Jordan. He had been shot in the head during violence that broke out in Syria. He wasn’t the only child refugee at the camp—There were so many children at the camp living in some of the harshest conditions I’ve ever seen. Malaria Malaria is known to be one of the oldest and deadliest diseases to affect mankind. While its actual age is still debated, its deadly affects on human beings are not.
