JASMINE GREENHOW

Learning & Talent Officer

Jasmine began her journey with Islamic Relief in 2023 as a Learning and Development Intern, where she provided administrative support and assisted in the transition to a new Learning Management System (LMS). In 2024, she returned to the organisation in a full-time role as a Learning and Talent Officer, where she leads on coordinating mandatory training compliance, designs data systems that support evidence-based learning, and advocates learning through the LMS. Jasmine also supports the delivery of training and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes with admin support.

Jasmine holds both a BA in Crime, Terrorism and Global Security and an MA in International Development from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Her undergraduate dissertation examined the nexus of human insecurity and corruption in the context of Afghanistan, while her master’s research focused on accountability mechanisms and power asymmetry in community development.

In addition to her academic and professional background, Jasmine volunteered for eight weeks with The Sparkle Foundation, a small NGO supporting vulnerable children in Malawi. During this time, she worked on streamlining data collection processes and providing administrative support under the supervision of the project manager.

Outside of work, Jasmine is a dedicated triathlete, with a passion for swimming, cycling, and running, and has the goal of completing a backyard ultra marathon. She is also an avid reader, particularly of fantasy and sci-fi genres.
