A New Internship Cohort: September

This month marks the beginning of a new internship cohort in which the interns will be working within various departments at HAD, Islamic Relief Worldwide and Islamic Relief UK for the next three months.

This cohort consisted of 13 interns working in various departments including: Learning and Development, Research and Development, Marketing and Communications, Internal Programmes Department (IPD), Global Advocacy, International Finance Department and more. 

We’re very excited to have such enthusiastic and skilled interns to be working alongside us at HAD and Islamic Relief. The programme is very much a give and take relationship and so we take great pride in the level of engagement our interns are exposed to during the three months of their internship. This engagement provides a level of development in our interns that in turn provides them with the experience needed to break into the industry as juniors in their roles. 

The internship also provides a taster of what it is like both to work in a humanitarian and development sector, but also in their respective departments.
