HAD has been busy over the past few years delivering vital institutional strengthening and capacity building programmes to local NGOs from across the globe. Our work has ranged from delivering practical skills-based training, to providing more holistic institutional development in areas such as leadership, programme management, and financial sustainability. Through building the resilience of local organisations in this way, we aim to nurture and support local civil society in many of the contexts within the humanitarian sector, therefore developing viable local partner organisations to aid in the delivery of our work in supporting local communities and helping them to become more sustainable.
