MISSION: ENHANCING THE BRANDING OF HAD DURATION: 3 MONTHS

“My internship was a great gateway into the humanitarian sector and I’m happy to be working in an environment where everyone is so easy to get along with”

“With a Bachelor in Degree Graphic Design and a Post Graduate degree of Social Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London. I was able to land a Graphic Design internship at HAD in 2017.

My reasons for doing the internship were simple; HAD was launching their new branding and I was able to get involved and add to the new branding design for HAD. That gave me an insight into design launching and career in the world of International Development.

While studying my masters in London. I was looking for work experience in order to develop my final dissertation – I have developed a case study for START Islamic microfinance institute in Kosovo which was created by Islamic Relief. Not only that working as an intern at Islamic Relief enabled me to develop my Graphic design skills, but also to get a richer insight on the topic of my dissertation,

I was interested in the topic of Islamic Microfinance and its relation to social entrepreneurship. Islamic relief was one of the NGO’s that promotes Islamic Microfinance, as a result, one of its Islamic Microfinance institutions spotted my eye. I looked through several Ngo’s and different opportunities, HAD Internship seemed to fit my future development goals and expertise. When I came across Internships at Islamic Relief website I applied immediately.”
