Tom Graduated from the University of Birmingham with a master’s degree in International Development Studies (Poverty and Inequality). Tom also holds a BA in Human Geography from Coventry University.

Prior to joining the Business Development Department at HAD, Tom was an intern with the R&D department where he worked closely with a number of the Islamic Relief Field offices in East Africa on developing a Community of Practice project. In his current capacity, Tom helps to seek out funding opportunities and develop project proposals, mainly focussing on institutional donors.
