Tom Graduated from the University of Birmingham with a master’s degree in International Development Studies (Poverty and Inequality). Tom also holds a BA in Human Geography from Coventry University.

Prior to joining the Business Development department at HAD, Tom was an intern with the Research and Development department where he worked closely with a number of the Islamic Relief field offices in East Africa on developing a Community of Practice project. In his current capacity, Tom seeks out funding opportunities and develops project proposals, mainly focussing on institutional donors.
